Leptis Magna - Libya

Last year's new year eve i went to Leptis Magna (or Lepcis Magna as it is sometimes spelled), also called LpqyNeapolis, or Lebda to modern-day residents of Libya and Lubda  is a ancient city  located in Al Khums, Libya, 130 km east of Tripoli, on the coast where the Wadi Lebda meets the sea, It was one of the most beautiful cities of the Roman Empire, with its imposing public monuments, harbor, market-place, storehouses, shops and residential districts. check the UNESCO SITE
It was a sunny day in contradiction to December's weather, we took off around 10:00 am and arrived a little after 12:30pm, there were little numbers of tourists at that time, naturally its due to the fact that tourists are spending Christmas and New year's holidays at their countries, and you can't hear any urban noises such as cars swooping the high road...
It was indeed a trip into history which i would happily take again.

These are a few photos i took with my camera, i couldn't post all of it...

  I love this one :P

YES, hearts!!!
